Team Prado Mission
To promote and Campaign for our Two stakeholders Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu, for a well-deserved Second Term as the Governor of Lagos State and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Our strategy is to reach out to every Lagosian through the grassroots campaign, And through SMART technological ideas, which will help the party (APC) to identify both strong and weak areas to channel our energy accordingly.
As the race for the 2023 Lagos State governorship election heats up, a private initiative known as Team Prado (TP}, made up of successful individuals from all walks of life, have come together to throw their weight and resources behind the Governor as the preferred candidate for the upcoming Gubernatorial election In Lagos State Nigeria, and also to put their weight behind the campaign strategy of APC in order to make sure our Presidential candidate for the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tlnubu, becomes the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
These professionals are based both in Nigeria and overseas. But have united based on their conviction that a win for Sanwo-Olu and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a win for democracy and the good people of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole. Members of Team PRADO cut across various industries. From finance to IT, researchers, project managers, teachers to students, and technocrats, both old and young.
The group, like every Lagosian, believes His Excellency Governor Sanwo-Olu’s stellar performance since he became Governor of the state was exemplary, earning him the love, respect and admiration of both people ln Lagos state and outside the state. For that reason, Team PRADO was formed in June to draw up a campaign strategy to support both Gov. Sanwo-Olu, and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next Nigerian President come 2023.
The people of Lagos deserve the stability the Governor brings by making Lagos a SMART city. A second term for him would allow APC to complete the great work they had already started for the people of Lagos, Just like the recreation and togetherness that will be brought to Nigeria once Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu becomes the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, judging by the transformation he’s brought to Lagos State as a former Governor using the same template and idea.
Every team member of PRADO is tech-savvy with solid political ideology and has put their required infrastructure for data analytics and technical resources to bear.
Also, our operation was well funded by group members and other like-minded individuals who believed in the ideology. We have set aside self-generated funds to help realise our objective: to achieve electoral victory for Governor Sanwo-Olu and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tlnubu come 2023. This fund was raised from voluntary donations amongst its members.
Indeed, even the Governor’s critics cannot deny that Governor Sanwo-Olu has performed very well since he became Governor of the state, further cementing the reputation of Lagos as the Centre of Excellence, and by religiously using the same template set for Lagos State since the days of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a former visionary Governor of Lagos state.
In recent years under the Governor’s guidance, many laudable projects and initiatives that previous Governors had abandoned have been majorly completed.
It would be recalled that during the outbreak of the covid-19, Lagos State proved to be quite proactive by responding swiftly to the pandemic and putting a qualified response team on the ground. The efficient management of the pandemic largely accounted for the lower death rate recorded in the state due to the disease. Hitherto, many had expressed concerns that once the disease got to Lagos, it would be a catastrophe, but under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the captain, the state proved capable of meeting the challenges and threats posed by the pandemic.
Another vital area where Sanwo-Olu showed his leadership acumen is in the area of infrastructural development. On record, more than 51 major infrastructural projects have been implemented by the state in the last few years.
These include ramp and road networks across the state, Pen Cinema fly-over, the Lagos-Ogun Boundary roads Phase II, Lekki-Oniru Traffic Circulation Projects, Ojokoro, Somolu and lkoyi road networks, etc.
In all, the administration of Gov. Sanwo-Olu has so far constructed and rehabilitated over 300 inner roads across the state’s 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).
The Agricultural sector has also experienced the leadership touch of the Governor, where such initiative as the Agricultural Value Chains Enterprise Activation Program was launched. Lagos State has trained and empowered many youths in various agricultural practices through the program.
Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s leadership is delivering for the people of Lagos State. Let us join hands to keep Lagos moving forward to greater heights.
